Q: What makes APN Group unique?
The people that work for APN are really wonderful. They span diverse age groups and interests, and when we get together, there are always interesting conversations. Also, everyone has been willing to pitch in and help out, whether I need to get up to speed on a new concept or software, or am just in need of an extra hand to get a project done.
Q: Q: What is your hometown and what do you love about it?
I grew up in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, a town of about 35,000 on the shores of Lake Michigan. I know a lot of people in Atlanta can’t imagine living through such cold winters, but I have so many great memories of growing up in the snow. There was a small ski hill nearby and we skied almost every weekend. We spent so much time outside—building snow forts, skating, sledding, going to Packers games… And that always made coming home to a fire and hot chocolate even better!
Q: What inspires you?
My family is my inspiration. My husband loves to be active, and he’s always motivating me to try something new. I have three boys who have a wonderful friendship, and it’s great seeing them together and feeling that family love. My dad is in his 90s, but you’d think he was in his 70s! Not only is he really sharp, but he also plays golf and tennis several times per week and bicycles everywhere. My mom passed away many years ago, but she was the rock of the family and taught us all about what’s really important in life.
